This ministry's primary purpose is to supply this "Walking the 12 Steps with Jesus Christ" study guide to those incarcerated in jails and prisons. It is at these times in peoples lives that they are at their most desperate state. It is in this desperation that they reach out for a new way of life. We want to be there waiting to put this very valuable source of overcoming power into their hands.

Last year we sent out more than 5000 study guides FREE of charge to those in jails and prisons. Each one of these books contained the Introductory lesson to our 28 lesson Student Correspondence course. We currently have more than 2,300 inmates taking this course.

Last years postage cost was more than $23,000. It costs us approximately $25 per inmate for postage for the courses only and about $3.00 per book sent. These figures do not include the cost of producing the study guide and materials. We just ordered more study guides at a cost of $11, 367.40 (January 2008).
